President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s congratulations on the Gratitude Day

February 28, 2020

Dear compatriots!

I congratulate you on the Gratitude Day!

Established by Elbasy, this holiday embodies the values of kindness, mutual respect and trust.

In the most difficult years, the Kazakh land welcomed millions of people who were forced to move here due to various historical circumstances. They and their descendants found a new Homeland in Kazakhstan, and made a worthy contribution to the development of our state.

On the Gratitude Day, we all pay tribute to each other for striving to live in friendship and harmony in the name of the prosperity of the people.

All the successes of our Independence were made possible by the unity of our society. This is an invaluable asset of Kazakhstan.

Therefore, strengthening national unity will always be the focus of our attention. Domestic political stability is not given for granted, but the result of civic activity and responsibility of every citizen of Kazakhstan.

I express my sincere gratitude to all the citizens of our country for their invaluable contribution to the development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

I wish you happiness, prosperity, and peace!
