The meeting was also attended by the Parliament deputies, deputy akims and heads of secretariats of regional assemblies, representatives of ministries and departments, republican and regional ethno-cultural associations, the APK Research Expert Council members and the media.
In her speech, Gulshara Abdykalikova stressed the Assembly’s part, which has a great potential for creation, in fulfilling the tasks set by Nursultan Nazarbayev for the country’s political, economic and spiritual modernization.
As noted by the Secretary of State, at present human competitiveness is the factor of the nation's success. The Assembly should contribute to the cultural formation of a modern society, the implementation of "Tugan Zher" Program, "100 New Individuals of Kazakhstan" and "Sacral Geography of Kazakhstan" Projects, which are the basics for educating patriotism, preservation of the cultural and genetic code of the nation.
During the meeting, the participants discussed the experience of implementing new activities of the Assembly in Kostanay oblast, the activity of the APK deputy group in the Majilis of the Parliament, and the work of the Uzbek Association of Kazakhstan "Dustlik".
In accordance with the principle of rotation, the APK Council nominated the candidatures of the Assembly’s Public Vice-Presidents for consideration by the APK session, confirmed the Secretariat’s proposal on establishing the APK "Zhomart Zhan" badge and approved the Regulations on Public Awards of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan.
