Participation of Kazakhstan’s State Secretary in the ceremony of accepting credentials

The State Secretary of Kazakhstan Gulshara Abdykalikova received credentials of the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassadors to Kazakhstan on concurrent terms: Carlos D. Sorreta, the Republic of the Philippines, Matabat Banjanga, the Republic of Chad, Julio Prado Espinosa, the Republic of Ecuador, José Esono Micha Akenga, the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, Rishi Ram Hkhimir, the Federative Democratic Republic of Nepal, Ricardo Ernesto Lagorio, the Republic of Argentina, Bernardo Cordova Tello, the United Mexican States and Mohammed M Tahar Alashabi, the Republic of Yemen.

During the conversation with the Ambassador of the Philippines, Gulshara Abdykalikova has informed that Kazakhstan is currently pushing forward the initiative of the President of Kazakhstan to adopt the Code of Conduct for a world free from terrorism.

The Secretary of State, at the meeting with the Ambassador of Chad, stressed the activities of the G5 Sahel as the most important mechanism to combat terrorism.

- Kazakhstan has set the task to join the 30 developed countries of the world. We are interested in transferring technologies and attracting foreign partners to innovative reforms in our country, Abdykalikova said at the meeting with the Ambassador of Ecuador.

During the meeting with the Ambassador of Equatorial Guinea, Gulshara Abdykalikova congratulated her election to the non-permanent members of the UN Security Council for 2018-2019. She noted that one of the priorities is the fight against international terrorism and violent extremism.

- Perspective directions of cooperation are agriculture, chemical industry, tourism, banking, extraction and transportation of hydrocarbons, the Secretary said during her conversation with the Ambassador of Nepal.

At the meeting with the Ambassador of Argentina Gulshara Abdykalikova congratulated with the victory of the city of Buenos Aires to hold the EXPO 2023. In this year’s Message, the Head of State has defined the tasks for Kazakhstan’s further development in the conditions of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. In this regard, she stressed the prospects for the development of cooperation in the field of innovation and digital technologies.

- Mexico is one of the most important partners among the countries of America, Gulshara Abdykalikova said during the conversation with the Ambassador of that country. She invited to cooperate on projects on EXPO-2017 platform: the Astana International Financial Centre, the International Centre for green technologies development and investment projects under the auspices of the United Nations and the International Technopark of IT start-ups.

During the meeting with the Ambassador of Yemen, the Secretary noted that Kazakhstan, as a peace-loving state, does not accept the development of a military scenario. We are consistent in supporting the principles of respect for territorial integrity, sovereignty and legally elected authorities.

At the end of the ceremony, the State Secretary of Kazakhstan has congratulated the Ambassadors with the beginning of the diplomatic service in Kazakhstan and wished them success.
